Once Upon A Time: Lana Parrilla (Latest Interview): The Villains She Loves And Fears

obsessivelyaddictive:

On ABC’s hit series Once Upon A Time, Lana Parrilla plays the deliciously mean Evil Queen, who in her alternate life as Regina Mills now presides as the Machiavellian mayor of Storybrooke, Maine, a town that is home to fairy tale characters under the influence of a…

“Henry, no matter what you think, no matter what anyone tells you, I do love you.”

I believed her.  Maybe for the first time.  Think about how different this scene is to the first episode when Emma asks Regina if she loves Henry.  I think that Regina perhaps wasn’t even aware of how MUCH she loved Henry until Emma came to town and stayed.  When we love someone so deeply, we always feel fear at our back, warning us that love can be a terribly unreliable emotion.  It can also be taken from us as easily as we can feel it.

I really liked that Regina felt the need to TELL Henry here.  All around her, she sees threats in the shapes of the citizens of FTL that she cursed.  They’re closing in on her - the Blue Fairy tells her to find a place “to hide”.  Regina knows she has to run.  So she tells Henry that she loves him, just so he knows.  And it’s the last thing she says in this season.  The last thing she tells anyone is about love, which I think exemplifies the ‘full circle’ of the Evil Queen.  This is no queen, hellbent on revenge (not yet, anyway); this is a mother, knowing that she’s lost her son, making sure that he knows how she feels.

And where does Regina run?  Back to her home.  The only home she’s known for almost thirty years.  And she cries into Henry’s pillow, because I think for the first time in years, she FINALLY understands that she DOES indeed love him.  That he’s her happy ending and that she might never have it now.

I loved Lana in this episode.  Just adored her.  Every scene she was in was glorious and she ran the gamut of emotions from blisteringly hateful to terrified to utterly heartbroken.

I want Henry to be the one who rehabilitates her.  I want Henry to go to her.  I want him to ask her why she did all those terrible things to people.  I want HIM to be the catalyst in Regina’s recreation of ‘self’.  I want him to ask her to be his mother again.  Because honestly, after this scene, I think she deserves it.

This is my Mom. In the beginning of last month, I called the paramedics because she wasn’t able to stand up. She had been having flu like symptoms for a while, but we thought nothing of it. When we arrived at the ER, the doctor examined her and told us that she had somehow acquired a flesh-eating bacteria that was gangrenous, and he said that it was very possible she wasn’t going to live through the night. My Mom endured three emergency surgeries that night, and has pulled through with amazing strength. It’s been almost a month now, and she’s still in the hospital—undergoing reconstructive surgery as I write this.
She doesn’t know how beautiful she is, she doesn’t understand how much she adds to this world. Her goofy sense of humour, her wit, her love, and her hugs, they all saved my life so many times, and brightened the lives of others.
I’ve never written anything like this before, but would anyone mind reblogging this to show your support, and to tell her and show her how much she’s loved and appreciated? I know it would mean the world to her.

Disney Astrology

Copyright from the original Disney Astrology book. I have picked out 12 characters who I feel fit the star sign PERFECTLY

Shang is a Capricorn no doubt! My late father was also very straightforward, real and deep down he had a sympathetic side.
Capricorn men are usually very masculine, very well groomed and just awesome!

Aquarius for Stich suits well since Stitch is curious, mischievous yet lovable. His uniqueness fits the Aquarius bill

Pisces are innocent yet cunning, a mixture of both. They are pretty good at keeping their true selves inside themselves without making anyone notice their real image. Good companions, resourceful and very good at getting people to do how they please.

Aries, yes Lilo’s sis remind’s me of my Aries sis ;) We both get into the strangest fights but Aries are very independent, simple and loving people.

Belle is really a cogent and beautiful Taurus :) Like my beautiful grandmother with a heart of gold.

Gemini for Tinkerbell, hell yeah! Just like most my Gemini friends she loves to explore, can be possessive of her loved ones, and also insecure but at the same time she’s witty, glamorous and like many Geminis very attractive.

Charlotte la Bouff from PRincess and the frog totally relates to my Cancerian friends who like pretty things, the exquisite life and love to be pampered. Although they have their laid back days where they would not groom too much but Charlotte has that hyper personality I see in a lot of fun loving Cancers
.
Leos are a lot like Beast no doubt! They may seem intimidating but really once you get to know them they have such a soft corner for others. I have personally experienced this. They want to make a difference and are by heart very open minded

Timon reminds me of my funny Virgo friends who are so good at imitating others and also finding the most humorous traits in almost everything! Like Virgos, Timon is funny, observant and resourceful to others.

Winnie the Pooh is a Libra and I couldn’t agree more! There were actually so many Libras I saw in this book that were accurate with the starsign. Pooh is loving, caring, always looks out for his friends and innocent. Like most Libras I know. He is protective of his friends and cherishes the good moments in life. My mom is a Libra and she can be just as cute as Pooh and  as intelligent as Daisy Duck ( another Libra)

As a Scorpio myself, I think Collette and the  little green aliens relate to me a lot :D Colette is so passionate about her cooking. Something I love to do as well. I can go to the extremes when I want my final dish complete. I see Colette in many other Scorpios I know too, we can be very sensitive specially when we don’t feel appreciated and we are very blunt. Still, if we are positive we can see things more logically if we learn to control our emotions.

Last but not least, Mushu! Who is a Sagittarius:

What I love about this sign that nothing can come in the way of their dreams. They don’t give up easy and even if they don’t have any chances left to prove themselves, they will still go at it. They are very social, makes friends fast and successful as far as I have seen. I have always felt happy sitting next to Sags due to their inherent ability to make you laugh and enjoy each and every second.
